Martin Lee Marlow

Martin Cody ‘Lee’ Marlow, age 31, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on July 12, 2018. He was born on May 31, 1987 to Martin “Marty” Marlow and the late Carol Icenhour Marlow of Mountain City, Tennessee.

Cody was of the Baptist faith. He loved to play guitar, sing, and just enjoyed being with his friends and family. He will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Gene and Bessie Marlow; maternal grandparents, Homer and Florence Icenhour; uncle, James David “Jaws” Icenhour and grandfather, Fred Icenhour.

In addition to his father, survivors include: one sister, Amanda May; one nephew, Jacob May; one niece, Aniston May, all of Mountain City; biological grandmother, Lue Clark and husband, Bud, of Mountain City. In addition, he is survived by six uncles, five aunts, many cousins and special friends, including Sheri Hicks of Mountain City.

Cody’s remains will be laid to rest with his mother at the Sunset Memorial Mausoleum.

A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July ,28 2018 at 1:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks people to please make a donation to Hux & Lipford Funeral Home for final expenses or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Cody’s honor.
