Ann Maxine "Coon" King 82, of Seahorn Lane passed away on May 27, 2018 at Watauga Medical Center in Boone, NC. She was married to the late Paul E. King. She was born in Mountain City, TN on April 17, 1936. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Webster Wilson and the late Belle Eliza Wilson. Ann loved to work in her flowers and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Along with her husband and parents she was also predeceased by her son, William Earl Warren. She is survived by two sisters, Norma Jean Lowe and Betty Ann Johnson, five children Shirley "Jeannie" Tester, Norman Warren, Lisa Snyder, Steven Warren, and Elizabeth King. Two son-in-laws, Jeff Tester and Duke Snyder and one daughter-in-law, Sandy Hammons. Twelve grandchildren Cheryl Leonard, Jamie Williams, Daniel Williams, Misty Williams, Heather May, Megan Gentry, Lynze Snyder, Steven "T-Bone" King, Hunter Tester, Jeffery Tester. Seventeen great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Special niece Cheryl Cortner. Special friends Patsy Eggers, Alice Dugger, and Willa Gray. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel at 11 A.M and visitation will be from 10 A.M.-11 A.M. Randy McClure will afficiate. Her burial will be at Rainbow Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jeffery Tester, Steven King, Jim Eggers, Tim Eggers, Gary Mahala, and Heath Lipford. Honary Pallbearers: Scotty Tester and Jeff Tester.
