Jerry Wilson, age 69, of Zionville, NC went home to be with his Lord on Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Foley Center in Blowing Rock, NC.He was born September 3, 1948 to Bert Wilson and Lizzy Icenhour Wilson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Tommy Wilson, Glen Wilson, Lee Wilson and Ivy Wilson and sisters: Pearl Guy and Hazel Falwell. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Karen Wilson Cook & Joey, Tammy Wilson Morefield & Jason, Ann Hawkins & Doug, Trish Wilson & Ryan and Keisha Wilson, Sons: Scott Wilson & JoAnn, Bert Wilson & Jennifer, and Aron Wilson, Sisters: Louise Harper and Della Ward Brother: JC Wilson Grandchildren: Kisha, Hallie, Emily, Natalie, Colton, Carmon, Logan, Shauntel, Dalton, Dylan, Alex, Gabe, Nick & Wyatt, one great grandchild: Caden, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Jerry Wilson will be conducted on Monday April 30, 2018 at 7pm from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Pastor Cameron Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-7pm prior to the funeral services. Private Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday May 1, 2018 at Reece Cemetery in Vilas NC. Pallbearers will be: JC Wilson, Bert Wilson, Doug Hawkins, Joey Cook, Scott Wilson, Ryan Jordan, Jason Morefield & Brandon Furchas.Honorary pallbearers: Ronnie Wilson, Gary Wilson, RC Pardue, Cecil Combs, Mitchell Gentry, Johnny Potter, Robert Wagner & Mark Graham.
