Everette Davis

Everette Ray Davis, age 86 of Creston NC, passed away Thursday April 5, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was born August 21, 1931 to the late J.R Davis and Stella Carpenter Davis, in Creston, NC. He is preceded in death by his wife Genelea Davis. He is survived by one son, Mike Davis and wife Vickie of Florida. One step-son Charlie Harmon and wife Annie of Abingdon,Virginia. Sisters; Shirley Gambill and husband Glen of Creston, NC, Judy Dollar and husband Donald of North Wilkesboro NC. Brothers; Glen Davis and wife Alta of Piney Creek, NC. R.C Davis and wife Virginia of Kernersville NC. 4 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, April 7th, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Hux & Lipford Funeral Home, Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held from 12:00 until 2:00 PM with Pastors Spencer Roark and Charlie Harmon to officiate. Pallbearers: Tony Cornett, Bob Ritchie, Ernie Simcox, Terry Gambill, Rob Pope, Jamie Osborne, Joe Osborne and special friend Spencer Roark. Graveside service will be held at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens following the funeral service.
