Jack David Sutherland

Jack David Sutherland, age 75, passed away at his home on Thursday February 8, 2018 in Mountain City, Tennessee . He was born October 22, 1942 to the late Buster and Mae Sutherland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Carol “Pudgey” Sutherland. Jack enjoyed coon and rabbit hunting, making cabinets and riding his motorcycle and his sky sports car. Those left to cherish his memories include: His wife; Georgia Hamm Sutherland of the home. Son; David Wayne Sutherland and wife Yvonne of Mountain City, TN. Brothers; Joe Sutherland and wife Lena Ray of Mountain City, TN. and Jerry Sutherland and wife Cathy of Mountain City, TN.Grandchildren; Stephanie and Chad Reece, Andrea and Eric Hicks. and Vanessa Sutherland. Great Grandchildren; Jaylynn Sutherland, Aleela and Nyiah Reece. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive, as well as many special friends. Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 7:00 pm. at the Corinth Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM. prior to the funeral service. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Morefield and Rev. Sam Lawson. Graveside service and interment will be conducted at Sunset Memorial Park, Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 2:00 PM.Pallbearers will be Art Fenner, Jeff Sutherland, Darrell Potter, John Lawton, Eric Hicks, Chad Reece, and Benny Campbell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mark Dunn, Tim Dunn, Paul Morrison, Terry Reece, David Garland and Leon Henley.  Condolences may be sent to the family at www.huxlipfordfh.com.At other times the family will receive friends at the residence 491 Deer Run Road, Mountain City, TN. Professional arrangements for the Sutherland family are in the care of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home, 300 W.
