Marvin Roush

Mr. Marvin Clifford Roush I, age 77, of Mountain City, TN passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital, Elizabethton, Tn. He was born April 22, 1940 in Rochester, N.Y. to the late William Robert Roush and Evelyn Bundy Roush. In addition to his parents, he was preceded by 3 sisters Carol Kempner, Bobby Roush, and Darlene Roush and a brother Roger Roush and 3 grandchildren and a great grandchild. Survivors include his wife Arzella Jones Roush of the home. 3 sons Marvin Roush II William Roush. Robert Roush and wife Pam; 4 Daughters Avis Price and husband Bob, Kathy Roark and husband Rickey, Roberta Pennington and husband Dennis and Rita Payne and husband Hubert. 20 Grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service for Marvin will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Tommy Stephens and James Henson to officiate. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service. The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made thru the funeral home to assist the family with service expenses.
