Carl D. Wilson

Carl D. Wilson, 84, of Albany, Oregon, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Samaritan Evergreen Hospice House. Carl was born October 27, 1933 in Jefferson, North Carolina to Emmet and June (Johnson) Wilson. He married Kathryn LaMarche in Stevenson, Washington on December 24, 1959. Carl worked as a Hafnium Operator at Wah Chang for 33 years. He enjoyed restoring vintage cars and trucks. He also loved deer and elk hunting, and gardening. He loved to share his garden with the neighbors. Carl is survived by his wife, Kathryn; daughters, NaeDean Mahr and Deanne Poirer; and brothers, Max and John Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers and 8 sisters.A memorial service will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Fisher Funeral Home with a reception to follow.
