Jacob Allan Sluder

Jacob Allan Sluder, age 16, of 949 Old Stage Road, Butler, TN passed away Monday, December 04, 2017 at the Johnson City Medical center.   He was born December 24, 2000 to Dale Sluder and Regina Garland Sluder.      Jacob was preceded in death by grandparents; Barbara Sluder, Kenneth Sluder, and Sambo Garland. He enjoyed playing on his iPod, playing video games, and most of all playing with his pet guinea pig he lovingly called “daddy’s baby”.   Those left to cherish his memory: Parents; Dale Sluder and Regina Garland Sluder. Sisters; Brittany Arnold and husband Todd, of Cookville TN, Kari Proffit and husband Jason, of Mountain City, TN. Grandma; “Nana” Joy Garland. Special aunts; Ronda “Goobee” Garland and Robin Furr. Special Friends; Houston Barlow and Montana Price.     A celebration of life for Jacob Allan Sluder will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2017 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Shannon Courtner and Minister Todd Arnold to officiate.
