James Mason "Jim" Bragg

James Mason "Jim" Bragg Sr., age 62, of 1230 Red Brush Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at the Johnston Memorial Hospital in Abingdon, Virginia. He was born on February 28, 1955 in Beckley, West Virginia to the late Acton Bragg and Frances Venable Spicer. He worked for several years at Levi Strauss and retired from National Textiles.  He loved the Tennessee Vols and Dallas Cowboys, NASCAR and just being outdoors in general. Survivors include his son, James Mason Bragg, Jr. of Mountain City, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Braxton Edward Bragg and James Mason Bragg III; three sisters, Bobbie Jenkins, Mary Coble, and Terry Chambers; one brother, Robert Bragg and several nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 3:00 pm in the Greer Cemetery in Trade, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends at the cemetery from 2:30 pm until the service at 3:00 pm.
