Alfred Henry Dugger

Alfred Henry Dugger, age 63, of Bristol, VA passed away at his residence Friday, July 14, 2017. He was the son of the late Otis Filmore Dugger and Thelma Lucille Williams Dugger. Alfred enjoyed watching wrestling, baseball and football and he especially loved his dog Lady. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia “Pat” Dugger. Survivors include: nine sisters: Sylvia Ward, Carolyn Dugger, Rachel Dugger, Vona Nieves all of West Grove, PA; Barbara Barlet, Joyce Pagan, Marie Dugger all of Deleware; Katherine Gutierrez of Indiana and Mary Dejesus of Pocopson, PA; two brothers: Frank Dugger of Kingsport, TN and Jessie J. Dugger of Bristol, VA; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Alfred Dugger will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 24, 2017 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Pastor Jeffery Carico to officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m.-1:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will follow in Bakers Gap Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Montgomery, William Nieves, Jose Villacana, Efrain Nieves, Shane Nieves and Ryan Villacana.
