Timothy Gouge

Timothy Gouge, age 53, of Johnson City, TN passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017, at his residence. He was born September 25 , 1963 in Lenoir, NC to the late Ira Gouge and Peggy Good Gouge. he also was predeceased by 2 nieces. He attended Keystone Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing, rafting, hiking, camping, and arrow head hunting. He was a self-employed electrician. He is survived by his loving wife; Christina Gouge, daughter; Autumn Bass, son; Cory Gouge, brother; Steve Gouge and wife Sherry, two sisters: Drusilla Winters and husband Harold and Lisa Arnett and husband Joe, and special friend; Doyle Holsclaw. Two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and five nephews also survive. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 from the Happy Valley Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.. The family will receive friends at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Elizabethton, TN at 12:30 till 1:30 prior to the graveside service. Pallbearers will be: Cory Gouge, Chris Townsend, Brandon Gouge, Issac Holsclaw, and Doyle Joseph Arnett Jr.  Funeral services for the Gouge family are in the care of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home, 300 W. Main Street, Mountain City, TN 37683.
