Sarah Louise Brown

Sarah Louise Brown of Radio Hill Road, West Jefferson, NC passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Ashe Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Dana Dunn and Mary Taylor Dunn. Sarah enjoyed coloring and flowers. Survivors include: her husband Gary Brown of the home; one daughter: Jennifer Newman Cavin of Independence, VA; two sons: Jacob Brown of Ashe County, NC and Jeffery Allen Hart of Wilkes, NC; three sisters: Bonnie Taylor of Lansing, NC; Corrina Taylor and Mary Ann Dunn, both of West Jefferson, NC; one brother: Dana Joseph Dunn of West Jefferson, NC; aunt Laura Lee Simpson, uncles Jody Simpson and Hobe Dunn of Mountain City, TN and seven grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews and special friend Vanessa also survive. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm from the East Side Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service.
