Ada Mae Phillips

Mrs. Ada Mae Phillips, age 67, of 317 Dotson Lane, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at her residence surrounded by loved ones. Mrs. Phillips was born June 27, 1936 and was an Ashe County, North Carolina native and the daughter of the late Silvers and Fannie Potter Roark. She now joins her late husband, Ivan I. Phillips, her late son, Billy Joe Phillips and her late brother, Earl Roark in Heaven. Mrs. Phillips is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob Joe and Jenny Phillips of Mountain City; four sisters, Jean Roark Potter, Georgie Roark Arnold and Ella Roark Davis, all of Mountain City and Carrie Roark Harmon of Butler; one brother, Roy Roark of Mountain City and several nieces and nephews also survive. Memorial Services for Mrs. Phillips will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 29, 2004 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Campbell to officiate. At other times, friends may call at the residence.
