Agnes M Nemeth

Agnes M. Nemeth, age 89, of 2973 Deer Run Rd., Mountain City, TN passed away at the Johnson City Medical Center on Saturday, November 19, 2011. She was born April 5, 1922 to the late Robert Laws and Priscilla Neatherly Laws. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew C. Nemeth and a son, Robert. She was a member of the Central Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading. She is survived by: two daughters, Donna and husband Larry Hammons, Mountain City, TN and Sharon and husband Michael Bursztyn, Mountain City, TN. Five grandchildren, Rachel McConoughey and husband, Scott, Greensboro, NC.; Michael and wife Ann Bursztyn, Buffalo, NY; Mark Bursztyn, Buffalo, NY; Elise Bursztyn and Andrew Bursztyn, Mountain City, TN. One great grandchild, Craig McConoughey, Greensboro, NC. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A special friend, Janice Hawkins, Mountain City, TN. Funeral services for Ms. Nemeth will be held 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel, Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Penley officiating. Music will be under the direction of Mrs. Jill Penley. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. prior to the funeral service. The family will meet to go in procession at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, 2011 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home to Pleasant Grove Cemetery for 10:00 a.m. graveside service.
