Rogersville:  Aleita Jo Gladson, age 55, of Rogersville, went to her Heavenly Home, Monday, February 26, 2024.  She was a member of West View Baptist Church. Aleita was a longtime and valued Hawkins County Schools Team Member as a bus driver, as a secretary, and as a assistant director within their transportation department.  She was cared for and loved by many, especially the children that were in her care.  Aleita was a loving wife, mother, mamaw, sister and friend.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Lee Smith and Imogene Murrell Smith; aunt, Virginia Ann White; nephew, Timothy Carl Reagan.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Gladson; daughters, Haley Spears (Eddie Goins); son, Donavan Spears (Shaina Reed) and Marshal Spears and wife, Shelby; grandchildren, Bowen Sykes, Karter Goins, and Shailynn Goins; step-daughter, Sarah Gordon and husband, Eric; step-son, Josh Gladson and wife, Niki; step-grandchildren, Kimberlee, Caleb and wife, Josie, Savana, Grace, Matthew, John, Raya, Georgia-Belle, and Dahlia-Sue; sisters, Dana Lee Smith, and Milissa Chess; honorary sister, Lisa Ann Mullins; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.


Visitation hours will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 1, 2024 at Christian-Sells Funeral Home, Rogersville and other times at the home of Milissa Chess, 120 Stanley Valley Rd., Rogersville. 2024 in the funeral  home chapel with Rev. Stevie Rogers officiating.


Aleita's wishes were to be cremated.
