Alma Nichols

May 25, 1918 — November 4, 2008

Alma Virgie Osborne Nichols, age 90 of Wytheville Virginia formerly of Mountain City, TN passed away Tuesday November 4, 2008. She was a daughter of the late Presley and Kate Osborne. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Nichols.

Survivors are

Son and Daughter in law James W “Jim” and Mary E. Nichols of Wytheville, VA

Grandson, James Ray Nichols, Roanoke, VA

Granddaughter, Elizabeth Nichols, Roanoke, VA

Sisters and Brother in law, Margaret and Joel Icenhour, Mountain City, TN

Rosa Lee Shores, Chilhowie, VA

Funeral service for Alma Nichols will be conducted at 2:00 P M Saturday November 8, 2008 from the Henson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Ballard officiating. Interment will follow in the Phillippi Cemetery in Mountain City, TN.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm November 8, 2008 at the funeral home chapel .In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wythe County Rescue Squad, P O Box 389, Wytheville, VA or to the St. Paul United Methodist Church.
