Amanda Luhrsen Robinson

Amanda Elizabeth Luhrsen Robinson, age 30, of Linthicum Heights, Maryland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 17th, 2019, after a 10-month battle with
cancer.

Amanda was welcomed into the world by her parents, Steven and Jennifer Luhrsen, on January 11, 1989. She brought much joy to their lives over the years.

Amanda enjoyed crafting and collecting and sold her wares on her Etsy store. Amanda loved people and enjoyed sharing the things she collected with them. She always seemed to have a special gift for the people in her life. Her smile and bright spirit will be missed by all who knew her. She also worked as an administrative assistant to the pastor at her local church, where she and her husband, Justin, were very involved in children’s ministry, AWANA, VBS and their small group.

Those left to cherish Amanda’s memory are her husband, Justin Robinson; parents, Steven and Jennifer Luhrsen; sisters, Catherine Luhrsen and Grace Luhrsen Baron; brother, Benjamin Luhrsen; paternal grandparents, David and Jill Luhrsen; nieces, Skylar, Lilian, and Arya; as well as beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her church family.

Amanda is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jim and Jean Smith.

Funeral services for Amanda will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019, at 11 am in the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home in Mountain City, TN. Graveside services for Amanda will follow in the Reece Memorial Cemetery, Liberty Church Road, Mountain City TN. Zachary Gibson will officiate the services.  Pallbearers will be Danny Farrow, Steve Luhrsen, Ben Luhrsen, Joey Smith, Jeff Smith, and Jeff Luhrsen.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 28, 2019, in the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel from 5 PM to 7 PM.
