Amanda Jane Woodward

Amanda Jane Woodward, age 29, of 212 Stout Branch Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 at her residence. She was the daughter of Larry Woodward and Jane Woodward of Mountain City. Amanda was a member of Roan Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Byrom and Anna Mae Hackney; paternal grandparents, Bruce and Opal Woodward; and one uncle, D. C. Pierce.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by one son, Peyton Tester, of the home and her fianc Brad Tester of Mountain City; one sister: Christie Joiner of Mountain City; aunts and uncles: Don and Katherine Hassenrick; Linda and Randy Pardue; Freddie and Martha Dean Arnold; Mary Jane Pierce all of Mountain City, Tennessee; Mamaw Tester of Mountain City and paternal grandmother Margaret Wauchenheimer of Arizona. Several cousins also survive.

Funeral services for Amanda Woodward will be conducted Thursday, October 18, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Wilson and Rev. Derl McCloud officiating. Graveside service and interment will be Friday, October 19, 2007 at 10 a.m. from Dyson Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Reece, Harley Reece, Stephen Lipford, Jeffery Lipford, Bradley Lipford, ?Mickey? Jones, Mark Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, and Chris Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Morefield, Jerry Grindstaff, Dean Stout, Dr. Don Tarr, Bud Hearne, Lee Talley, and Steve Owens. The family will receive friends Thursday prior to the funeral services from 6:00 ? 7:30 p.m.
