Angie Irene Lunsford

Angie Irene Lunsford, age 91, of Butler, TN passed away July 12, 2016 at her daughters residence. She was born December 26, 1924 to Thomas A. Stanton and Fannie Ward Stanton. In addition to her parents Irene was preceded in death by her husband, Ed T. Lunsford and son Mark E. Lunsford, also five brothers: James C. Stanton, Carl E. Stanton, William E. Stanton, Thomas C. Stanton, and Robert J. Stanton.

She was quiet but a faithful and dedicated servant of the Lord and a member of Dyson Grove Baptist Church . She enjoyed summer when she could be outside taking care of her flowers as long as she was able. She loved her family very much as well as her best friends: Rio, Rascal, and Wolf.

Irene is survived by her daughter, Elaine Oliver and husband Carl, grandson, Joey Oliver, all of Butler, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and interment will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 15, 2016 from Dyson Grove Cemetery with Dr. Tom Stanton and Pastor Leonard Fletcher officiating.
