Anita Kay Campbell

Anita Kay Campbell, age 62, of Granite Falls, NC and formerly of Mountain City, TN passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 in Frye Medical Center, Hickory, NC after an extended illness. She was the daughter of the late Ira Ross Gentry and Carrie Veda Rupard Gentry. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Junior Dean Campbell. Survivors include: two sons: John Campbell and wife Denise of Mountain City, TN and Michael Campbell of Granite Falls, NC; one brother: Junior Gentry and wife Teresa of Galax, VA; two grandchildren: Joseph Campbell and Ashlynn Campbell, both of Mountain City, TN; nieces and nephews: Jake Gentry and Katie Gentry of Galax, VA. Her special friend Pastor Joe Parker also survives. A graveside service for Anita Kay Campbell will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 from Cress Cemetery with Mr. Bud Gentry officiating.
