Anna Lois Forrester Lipford

Anna Lois Johnson Forrester Lipford, age 80, of 961 Fall Branch Road, Mountain City, TN passed away at her residence Thursday, June 11, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Booker Johnson and Lura May Johnson. Lois was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church and she loved canning, gardening, flowers and photography. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ottis Forrester and Ralph Lipford; daughter Sandy Lipford; son Allen Lipford; brothers Cecil and Robert (Bob) Johnson; sister Margaret Glenn and an infant brother John. Survivors include: four sons: James Forrester and wife Bet; Kenny Forrester; Benny Forrester and Freddy Forrester and wife Diana, all of Mountain City, TN; brother: James Johnson and wife Joyce of Creston, NC; sisters-in-law: Mae Johnson and Betty Johnson; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; stepson Jerry Lipford of Mountain City, TN; stepdaughter Connie Payne and husband Larry of Knoxville, TN; step grandchildren: Craig Lipford and David Payne; nieces Jane Clark and Penny Keller; and six nephews. Special friends Sandy Glenn, Betty Mink, Laura Lipford, Jean Jennings, Mai Lynn Royston and Nancy Wills also survive. Funeral services for Anna Lois Johnson Forrester Lipford will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2015 from Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Harry Wills and Rev. David Bentley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral services. Graveside and interment will be held in Johnson Lipford Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. Sunday, June 14, 2015. Active pallbearers will be Matthew Forrester, Adam Forrester, Tim Brown, "Little" Gary Johnson, Timmy Brown, Keith Johnson, Gary Johnson and William Glenn. Honorary pallbearers will be Buford Lipford, Boyd Lipford, Lennie Glenn and Dr. Donald Walters. At other times friends may call at the residence, 961 Fall Branch Road, Mountain City, TN.
