Anna Pearl Waters Johnson

Anna Pearl Waters Johnson, age 72, of 3334 Cold Springs Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away, Monday, April 14, 2003 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Sutherland Community in Tennessee born on November 23, 1930 to the late Clinton and Bertha Hamby Waters. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Earl Waters, Bill Waters, Charles Waters, and Hubert Waters, four sisters, Edna Mae Waters, Pauline Holman, Elizabeth Hawkins, Bertie Faber, and one grandson, T. J. Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a High School Graduate of 1949, a homemaker, was a member of the Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church, and she kept many children including the last two special ones, Zack Horne and Hope Nelson and had many friends. Funeral services for Anna Pearl Waters Johnson will be held 8:00 P. M. Wednesday, April 16, 2003 from the Chapel of the Henson Funeral Home with Rev. Steve McCready and Rev. Lonnie Denny to officiate. Graveside services and burial will be 10:00 A. M. Thursday, April 17, 2003 from the Johnson Cemetery in Mountain City. Pallbearers will be Tim Nelson, Jim Osborne, Allen Osborne, Jack Proffitt, Shannon Courtner, and Skip Roark. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Thomas Roark and Nathaniel Graybeal. The family will receive friends from 6:00 P. M. till 8:00 P. M. Wednesday prior to the funeral service. Friends may also call at the residence at anytime.
