Annie Lecy Sherrill

Annie Lecy Sherrill, 83, of Mountain City, TN passed away peacefully at her home on October 29, 2012. Born on February 25, 1929 in Muscogee County GA, she was the daughter of the late James and Lucy Lane. Annie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Sherrill. Survivors include her children, James Sherrill of Mountain City, TN, David Sherrill and wife Juanita of Hickory, Jerome Harris and wife Lisa of Morganton, Linda Johnson of WA, sister, Mary Madaris of GA, 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 3:30 at Catawba Funerals & Cremations with Pastor Thomas Hutchins officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
