Annie Duvall Welch

Annie Duvall Welch, age 76, of Littlestown, Pennsylvania, formerly of 924 Medical Park Drive in Mountain City, TN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2004 at Beverly Healthcare in Gettysburg, PA. A native of Partlow, Virginia, she was born December 22, 1927 to the late George L. and Millie H. Cress Duvall and was the wife of Robert E. Welch, who died in 1987. She and Robert moved to Mountain City in 1968 and worked with Ramsey's Department Store, was a homemaker and a member of Valley View United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her son, Andy Welch and two brothers, Ivan Duvall and Mack Duvall. Surviving is two sons: John A. Welch and wife, Bea, of Arab, Alabama and David L. Welch and wife, Patricia, of Littlestown, PA; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday, February 28, 2004 in Valley View United Methodist Church. Rev. Don Everheart will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p. m. Saturday at the church prior to the services. Burial will be in the Phillippi Cemetery. Henson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
