Antonett (Toni) Marie Vargha

Our Mom, Antonett (Toni) Marie Napoli was born on December 18, 1947 to Anthony and Maybelle Napoli.  She was the youngest of 6 children.

Toni married Joseph Vargha, Jr. in 1980 and together they raised 4 children, Paul (Lisa) Vargha of Sarasota, FL, Vivien Spencer of Phoenix, AZ, Dallas (Anna) Keenan of Butler, TN, and Trever (Randy) Van Batavia of Menahga, MN.  In 1984, Joe and Toni moved to their treasured homestead in Butler, TN.   Where Mom made her home for 41 years.  She loved horses, riding, dogs and cats.  She was a compassionate and sacrificial caretaker to all the animals she loved the most recent being her dog Jack.  And of course she loved watching her family grow and took a lot of pride in her 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Mom was also a loyal sister and friend and always a comforting listening ear.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Gloria Cox, Alice Wiek, Dora and her brothers Jon Natoli and Bud Natoli.  In 2004, she lost her beloved husband Joe.  We take comfort in that they are united again and Mom’s body is restored.

A special thank you to Kathy Burrell for her friendship to Mom over the years and to Dallas and Anna whose care allowed Mom to stay in her own home.

A memorial service for Toni will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Clarence "Bubba" Cannon officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.
