Arlene Wanda Gentry

Wanda "Sis" Gentry age 58 of 1670 Slabtown Road passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at her residence.  She was born March 24, 1965 in Mountain City, TN to the late Lillard Gentry and Virgie Able Gentry.  In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Dean Able and Ronnie Gentry and a sister, Judy Diane Gentry.

Wanda enjoyed western shows and spending time with her nephews.

In addition to her husband, Charles Gentry, those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Virgie Able of Mountain City; sister, Shelby Roark of Mountain City; brother, Danny Gentry of Elizabethton; two cousins, Helen (Honey) Harless of Laurel Bloomery and Arlene Atwood of Laurel Bloomery and two nephews, Joseph Roark of Mountain City and Daniel Gentry of Elizabethton.

A visitation will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 12 - 2 pm in the Charles B Hux Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the State Line Cemetery in Laurel Bloomery.

In lieu of flowers, donations made be made to Hux & Lipford funeral Home to help with the cost of the Services.
