Barbara Forrester

Barbara Forrester, age 78, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025.  She was born May 12, 1946 to the late Clarence Morefield and Belle Jenkins Morefield.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Forrester and grandson, Steven Brown.

Barbara was a machine operator at Burlington Industries and Sara Lee.  She enjoyed being outside , exercising and reading.  She loved to go out shopping with her best friend for over 50 years, June Eller.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters, Sandy Brown (Jeff) and Connie Pennington (Jimmy); son, Randy Forrester (Suzi); sister, Terry Campbell; brother, Delmer Morefield; grandchildren, Bobby Jenkins and William Necessary; great grandchildren, Peyton Jenkins and Laela Jenkins; several nieces and nephews and special friend, June Eller.

A memorial service for Barbara will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025 in the Charles B. Hux Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Bill Morefield officiating.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. prior to the service.

Honorary pallbearers are Wes Hagler, Jimmy Jenkins, Jeff Jenkins, Wilma Allen and Suzi Forrester.
