Bart Dunn

Bart Dunn, age 77, of 654 Deer Run Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at Sycamore Shoals Hospital, following an extended illness. A native of Johnson County, Tennessee, he was born January 23, 1927 to the late Hugh Blaine Dunn and Winnie Phillips Dunn. In addition to his parents, Bart was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Pardue Dunn; two sisters, Goldie Forrester and Jane Mains; three brothers, Dayton, Ernest and John Dunn; seven half-sisters and three half brothers. He had retried from Burlington Industries. Bart loved to work with flowers. He was a member of Corrinth Baptist Church. Bart is survived by his sister, Ella Rose Hamm and husband Howard of Nottingham, Pennsylvania. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.` Funeral Services for Bart will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, October 24, 2004 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Fletcher to officiate. Graveside Services and Interment will follow from the Phillippi Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9-11:00 a.m. Sunday, prior to Services at the Funeral Home Chapel. At other times, friends may call at the residence.
