Berlie Stansberry

Mrs. Berlie Stansberry, age 87, of 456 Tester Road, Butler, Tennessee, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, July 16, 2013. She was born April 18, 1926 in Trade, TN to the late Ray Potter and Polly Hicks Potter. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Luther Stansberry, also two daughters; Helen M. Stansberry, and Lorraine Stansberry Parsons and one great grandchild Emmalee Helen Arnold. . Berlie was a member of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church. She was a homemaker who loved working with her flowers and gardening. Survivors include: daughter; Kylene S. Triplett and husband Harvey of Ferguson, N.C; son: Ronnie A. Stansberry, and wife Ruth of Butler, TN and son- in -law: Cecil Parsons Hickory, N.C. Six grandchildren; Jeannie Parsons, Morganton, N.C; Sylena Winebarger, Ferguson, N.C; Sara Winebarger, Ferguson, N.C; Delaina Arnold, Mountain City, TN; Julie Stansberry, Hickory, N.C. and Jason Napier of Butler, TN; Four great grandchildren: Warren Arnold, Sam Arnold, Josiah Arnold, and Ethan Winebarger and two very special family friends: Joetta Stansberry, and Terry Hodge. Funeral services for Mrs. Berlie Stansberry will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 from the Charles B. Hux chapel of the Hux Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Bill McGuire and Rev. Ray Greene officiating. Pallbearers will be selected. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 pm. Thursday prior to the funeral service. Graveside Services for Berlie will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday July 19, 2013.in the Payne Cemetery. Everyone is asked to assemble at the cemetery at 9; 45 am.
