Bessie G. Taylor

Bessie Taylor age 84, of Mountain City, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Onnie Guy and Sally Eggers Guy. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church and she enjoyed playing bingo, flowers and gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burl Taylor, in 1996; four brother: Bill, Burney, Ernest and Conn Guy; two sisters: Hazel Greene and Sophia Cornett. Survivors include: one son Randy Taylor; special friend Dorothy Greene; one grandson Tracy Taylor of WV and one granddaughter Lisa Taylor of MD. Funeral services for Bessie Taylor will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 from the East Side Memory Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Billy Guy officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Private inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Park. At other times friends may call at the home of the niece Penny Taylor, 478 Furnace Creek Road, Mountain City, TN 37683. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
