Betty J Hammons

We are saddened to announce the passing of Betty Jo Hammons, age 84, on Thursday, September 23,2021. She was born July 7,1937 to the late Mary Della Moore. Betty enjoyed cooking. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons: Ralph Lynn Hammons and Jack Wayne Moore. Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter Melissa Lynn Hammons and one son Ray Hammons, both of Mountain City, TN; one brother James Harold Gilley of Mountain City, TN; grandchildren Tiffany Sue Hammons, Melissa Sue Hammons, Jeffery Wayne Hammons and special friends Mae Dugger and Virgie McGlamery and Trula Wilson A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in Sunset Memorial Park with Mr. Tom Reece officiating.
