Betty H. Norris

Betty H. Norris, age 92, of 235 Mae Tester Lane, Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 2, 2005. A native of Shouns, Tennessee, she was born on March 13, 1913 to the late Walter and Callie Poe Hayworth. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Norris, three brothers: Joe Hayworth, Dana Hayworth and Emory Hayworth, two sisters: Fanny Hayworth and Hattie Hayworth, one son, Robert Wade Norris and two grandsons: Robert Norris and Jeff Norris. Betty was a member of Roans Creek Baptist Church and also attended Sink Valley Baptist Church. Betty is survived by two sons: Millard Norris and Willard Norris; two daughters: Margaret M. Lipford and Elsie L. Holden, many grandchildren and great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Betty will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2005 from the Sink Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Harvey White to officiate. Interment will be in the Dunn Memorial Park (Forge Creek Community). Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 4, 2005 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel.
