Betty Smith

We are saddened to announce the passing of Betty Smith, age 65, in Johnson City Medical Center on Wednesday, May 4, 2022. She was born January 31, 1957 to the late Rev. Kermit Combs and Jessie Lee Hagaman Combs. Betty loved flowers and dogs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son: T.J. Puckett and one sister: Kathy Cable. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband Ed Smith of the home; one daughter Jessica (Ron) Christian of Elizabethton, TN; five grandchildren: Trep Armstrong, Aden Armstrong, Dayez Armstrong, Taven Christian and Sierra Puckett; and one great grandchild: Ava Puckett. A private family service will be held at a later date.
