Bill N. Bentley, age 78, of Old Clayton Greene Road, Boone, NC passed away Tuesday evening, Dec. 7 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Frances Townsend Bentley, three sons David and wife Anita Bentley, of Mountain City, Don and wife Elizabeth Bentley, of Lenoir, NC.,Mark Bentley, Boone, NC. one daughter Sandra and husband Buddy Kincaid of Lenoir, NC, five sisters, Betty Taylor of Foscoe, NC, Pat and husband Bill, of Lexington, NC, Bobbie and husband Jerry Winebarger of Lenoir, NC, Nancy and husband Charles Greer, Boone, NC, Phyllis and husband Jerry Moretz, Boone, NC, two brothers, Jerry and wife Sylvia Bentley, Myrtle Beach, SC, Eddie Dean and wife Nancy Bentley of Boone, NC, 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great-grandchildren , several nieces and nephews. His parents David and Nancy Lawrence Bentley. a son Herby Bentley, and a Grandson, Jason Bentley preceded him in death. Funeral service for Mr. Bill Bentley will be conducted Friday Dec.10, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Central Assembly of God, in Boone. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Bristle and Rev Chuck Bristle. Burial will follow in the White Cemetery The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 PM Friday prior to the service at the Central Assembly of God in Boone, NC.
