Blanche Keene

Obituary for: Blanche Hodges Keene Ms. Blanche Hodges Keene, age 78, of 1010 Reece Hill Road, Mountain City, TN 37683 passed away at her residence Friday, January 4, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Reese Hodges and Ruth Hodges. Blanche was a member of First Christian Church in Mountain City, TN. She loved square dancing, playing bridge and she was a member of the Red Hat Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Ed Hodges. Survivors include: one daughter: Julie Stanley of Mountain City, TN; two sons: Reese Stanley and wife Valerie of Fernandina Beach, FL and Rowell A. Stanley, Jr. and wife Debbie of Martinez, GA; one sister: Mavis Williams and husband Carl of Dublin, GA; one brother: Mark Hodges and wife Pat of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren: Jennifer Stanley, Caroline Stanley, Meredith Stanley and Hallie Noble. Also several nieces and nephews survive. A memorial service for Ms. Keene will be held January 19, 2013 at First Methodist Church in Dublin, GA at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. A memorial service will also be conducted at 2:00 p.m. January 26, 2013 from First Christian Church in Mountain City, TN with Mr. Dwayne Dickson officiating.
