Bobby "Jack" Taylor, age 76, of 1979 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Mountain City Care Center. He was the son of the late C.C. Taylor and Mary Jane Payne Taylor. He was a member of the Craddock High School Class of 1953. Jack was a U.S. Army veteran having served in Korea. He was a member of Hammons Chapel Christian Church and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, water skiing and square dancing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Trula Perry Taylor and a son Larry (Big L) Dunn. Survivors include: his wife Reba of the home; daughter Lisa Allen and husband Bill of Mountain City, TN; son Robert Dunn of the home; two sisters: Linda Simcox and husband Walter of Mountain City, TN and Betty Murphy and husband Bill of Butler, TN; brother Danny Taylor and wife Brenda of Mountain City, TN; one grandchild April Allen Dunn and husband Matt of Mountain City, TN; one great grandchild Mason Ray Dunn; several nieces and nephews and many, many special friends. Funeral services for Bobby "Jack" Taylor will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2013 from Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Rev. Joshua Giddings and Rev. Steven Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Military graveside service and interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard. Active pallbearers will be friends of the Hunting and Fishing Club. Honorary pallbearers will be Staff of Mountain City Care Center, Dr. John Whitlock, Dr. Daniel Jones and members of the Hunting and Fishing Club.
