Bobby Ray Neatherly, age 60, of Kingsport, Tennessee, formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2005 at his residence following an extended illness. He was a native of Johnson County. He was born June 21, 1945 to the late William Thomas Neatherly and Perdie Willen Neatherly. In addition to his parents, Bobby Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Harold Neatherly. Mr. Neatherly was a member of the Roan Creek Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Tom's Body Shop. Survivors include wife Lois Jennings Neatherly, of the home; 3 daughters, Michele Robles and husband, Sabino, of Boone, North Carolina; Marsha Roark of Kingsport, Tennessee; Bobbie Jo Ludlum and husband, Robert, of Fayetteville, North Carolina; 4 sisters, Betty Garland and husband, Harold, Mountain City, TN; Marie Jennings, Mountain City, TN; Kathy Clawson and husband, Doug, Boone, N.C.; Martha Church and husband, Jack, Butler, Tennessee; 3 brothers, George Neatherly and wife, Diane, Downing Town, PA; John L. Neatherly and wife, Reba, Mountain City, TN; Tom Neatherly, Mountain City, TN; 7 grandchildren, Jessica Roark, Kingsport, TN; Samantha Roark, Kingsport, TN; Selena Robles, Boone, NC; Jonathan Pleasant, Boone, NC; Tomas Robles, Boone, NC; 2 step-grandsons, Seth Ludlum, Fayetteville, NC; Wyatt Ludlum, Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews are also survived. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, July 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. from the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Carr and Rev. Frank Woods to officiate. Pallbearers; Jonathan Pleasant, Sabino Robles, Robert Ludlum, Steve Jennings, Steve Mann and Doug King Honorary Pallbearers; Grandsons and nephews The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home Chapel.
