Bonnie Maude McQueen Wagner, age 82, of 334 Sugar Grove Church Road, Butler, Tennessee, passed away at her residence on Monday, August 14, 2006. She was born on April 13, 1924 in Butler, Tennessee to the late William H. Mack and Chelsie Robinson McQueen. She was a graduate of Watauga Academy. Bonnie was a homemaker and a member of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for a number of years. She was also a member of the Butler Eastern Star. Bonnie loved sports, especially the Tennessee Lady Vols and the Atlanta Braves Baseball. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vaught Wagner, who passed away in 2002; one sister, Beatrice Clark and one brother, Estel Pete McQueen. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Melvel and Teresa Wagner and Gary and Cathy Wagner, all of Butler, Tennessee; one sister, Buna Lehman of Llano, Texas; two grandsons: Trafton Wagner and wife Kristy of Knoxville, Tennessee and Jody Wagner of Butler, Tennessee; great grandson, Hunter Wagner of Knoxville, Tennessee and special friends, Mack and Linda Holloway. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Bonnie Maude McQueen Wagner will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2006 from the Sugar Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Doug Ranshaw and Mr. Brian Hollaway to officiate. The family will receive friends from 1-3:00 p.m. prior to the Services at the Church Music will be under the direction of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church Choir. Graveside Services and Interment will follow form the Sugar Grove Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Andy Johnson, John Blackmore, Mack Hollaway, Claude Gregg, Ethan Johnson, Fred Anglemyer, Jake Story and Bob Tester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sugar Grove Baptist Church, Treasurer, Darrell Greene, 1684 Draft Road, Butler, Tennessee 37640.
