Brenda Sue Guinn

April 22, 1950 — July 31, 2016

Brenda Sue Guinn, age 66, of 294 Mack Branch Road, Butler, TN passed away Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Hermitage Health Center in Elizabethton, TN. She was born April 22, 1950 to the late Dana Stout and Virgia Walsh Stout. In addition to her parent’s she was preceded in death by her husband, James Guinn. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where she was also the janitor and Sunday School Treasurer and Secretary. Brenda enjoyed working in her flower garden.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Debbie Guinn, three brothers: Blaine Stout, Wayne Stout, and Carroll Stout, all of Butler, TN, and one brother-in-law, Hurley Guinn, and special friend Vicky Snyder. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

There will be a graveside service Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m., from Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Wilson and Rev. Albert Perkins officiating. Pallbearers are Robert Stout, Gary Stout, Kevin Gwinn, Jordan Stout, Jim Gentry, and Randal Gwinn. Honorary pallbearers will be Russell Lewis, Melvin Weaver, Bill Murphy, Mike Swift, Jim Fritts, James Arnold, and Dan Lipford.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Flo Bellamy and Johnson County Cancer Support Group and so many friends who took care of her, including Carolyn Adams, Dora Adams, and Mary Ward.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Johnson County Cancer Support Group, c/o Flo Bellamy, 3510 Hwy. 421 N., Mountain City, TN 37683.
