Brenda Kaye Pierce, age 55, of 225 Red Hill Road, Butler, TN passed away at her residence on Sunday morning, June 10, 2012. She was born on August 1, 1956 to Betty Bowers Dugger of Johnson City, TN and the late Doag Dugger. Brenda was a member of Pierce Baptist Church and she loved flowers, gardening, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Randy Dugger and Nathan Dugger. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all friends who recently helped Brenda fulfill her last wish - getting to see her grandchildren play in the ocean. Ms. Pierce is survived by her husband: Montie Pierce, of the home; one son: Christopher Pierce and wife Tammy of Butler, TN; one daughter: Tabbi Miller and husband Preston also of Butler, TN; one sister: Judy Miller and husband Jerry of Elk Mills, TN; two brothers: Harvey Dugger of Church Hill, TN and Michael Dugger of Stoney Creek, TN; six grandchildren: Dylan, Christian, Connor and Caleb Pierce; and Logan and Landon Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Special friends Lena Belle Pierce, Kathy Pierce and Stoney Miller also survive. Graveside Services for Mrs. Brenda Kaye Pierce of 225 Red Hill Road in Butler, TN will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 from Butler Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Oddis Dugger, Rev. Harvey White, Rev. John Hammet and Rev. Alan Koch officiating. Pallbearers will be Todd Garland, Preston Miller, Jerry Miller, Michael Dugger, Stephen Miller and Dylan Pierce.
