Brenda Pass

Brenda Joy Pass entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 16, 2025 in the Johnson City Medical Center.  She was born May 22, 1953 to the late Vaught Grindstaff and Betty Sullivan Grindstaff.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Pass; son, Jamie Pass; brother, Joe David Grindstaff and grandchild, Susan Ibarra

Brenda worked in admissions and medical records at the Johnson County Community Hospital.  She was a member of Dyson Grove Baptist Church and enjoyed flowers and fishing.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons Jonathan Pass (Misty) and Jeff Pass (Cindy); Brother, Bob Grindstaff (Tammy); four grandchildren, Ashlyn Pass (Jace), Elikiea Pass, Jacob Pass and Emily Ibarra; several nieces and nephews; lifelong best friend, Judy Pass and special friend, Mildred Pass.

A funeral service for Brenda will be conducted on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at 8:00 p.m. with Gary Phillips and Jeff Pass officiating.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. A private burial will be held at the Grindstaff Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers are Angel Ibarra, George Williams, Janson Pass, Matthew Pass, Keith Grindstaff, David Grindstaff and Mitchell Grindstaff

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Johnson County Cancer Support Group in care of Flo Bellamy
