Brenda Sue "Susie" Malcolm

Brenda Sue “Susie” Malcolm, 61, of Butler, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019, at the Johnson City Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.  Susie was born in Wooster, Ohio on December 3, 1957, to the late Fred Greer and Dorothy Wallace Woodby.  In addition to her father, Susie is preceded in death by her brothers Fred and Rick Greer and Bronson Triplette.

Susie worked as a CNA at Mountain City Care and Rehabilitation Center for many years.  Her patients held a special place in her heart.  When Susie wasn’t working, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Dorothy Woodby; daughter Misty Kyte of Butler, TN; son Jerimiah Malcolm of Intercourse, PA; two sisters Carrie “Inkey” Shupe of Knoxville, TN and Michaelina Brown of London, KY; three grandchildren, Mitchell, Melody, and Connor Malcolm; special friend, Robert Combs of Johnson City, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Private services will be held at a later time.
