View This Video Tribute Brian Steven Isdell, age 55, of 1156 Highway 421 North, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 20, 2009 in Lincoln, Maine. Mr. Isdell was the son of Catherine Kessel McDonald Rossi of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and the late James Isdell, in addition to his father he was preceded in death by one brother, Ben Isdell. He attended the Antioch Baptist Church, Mountain City, Tennessee. He loved Mechanical Building, anything dealing with outer space, the Sci-Fi channel, camping, motorcycle riding, and flying. Mr. Isdell was a Truck Driver with Nelson Trucking.
Other than his mother, he is survived by his wife; Helen Isdell of the home. Two sons; Steven Isdell and Keith Isdell of the home. Three stepsons; John King, Mountain City, Tennessee, Jeff King, Mountain City, Tennessee, and Ken Fauble, Redline, Pa. a sister; Julie Tomlinson, Myrtle Beach, S.C., one brother; Daniel Isdell, San Jose, CA. Seven step grandchildren, one step great grandchild, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Jeff Nelson and Billy Pardue also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Isdell will be conducted Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford funeral home, with Rev. Spencer Roark officiating. Graveside services will follow from the Allen Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Lay, Randy Thomas, Marty Potter, Pete Roark, Jamie Roark, Doug Roark, Billy Pardue, and Mike Roark. Honorary pallbearers will be Coy Roark, Norman Price, and employees of Nelson Trucking. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the funeral service.
