Carl Peck

Carl "Roger" Peck, age 75, gained his wings at 8:15 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025 at his residence with his family there holding his hand as he took his last breath after a short battle with cancer.  Roger was born December 6, 1949 to the late Garnett and Naomi Ball Peck.  He was preceded in death by three brothers, four sisters, and his son, Terry Davis. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving girlfriend of fourteen and a half years, Pat Roark; daughter, Lora and husband Justin Cable: his sons, Mark Peck and wife Paula, Freddy Potter and wife Gina, Billy Davis and his four legged baby boy, Bodie; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and one sister; special friends, Eric Roark and Colleen Cooper.

For many years, Roger was an over the road truck driver but retired in 2015 from Maymead as a mechanic.  He loved spendiing time with his family.  He also enjoyed being outside, gardening and at the lake where he loved fishing and camping. He loved to sit at home and play solitaire and watch old westerns, Chicago Nights, NASCAR and wrestling. 

Roger will be greatly missed by his famiy.  He asked that his body be cremated and that there just be a private family gathering later on.
