Carlos Sanchez

It is with great sadness that the family of Carlos Sanchez announces his passing on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the age of 51 in Watauga Medical Center. He was born July 10, 1970 in Ciudad Mante, Mexico to the late Teodardo Sanchez and Maurilia Gamez Hernandez and was of the Catholic faith. Carlos was a friendly, caring and loving person who never met a stranger. He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, was an excellent cook and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Maria B. Sanchez Gamez and special friend Ramiro Mireles. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Susan Tester Sanchez of the home; daughter Kristi Sanchez; sons Matthew Tester and Carlos Antonio Sanchez; parents who raised him Domitilo Sanchez and Herculana Alvarez; sisters: Juana Maria Sanchez Gamez; Maria Del Carmen Sanchez Gamez and Maria Ventura Sanchez Gamez and a brother Eduardo Sanchez Gamez; grandchildren: Ethen Tester and Carla Sanchez, Special Friends Jose Martinez, Bill Tester, Dusty Wallace and a host of other family and friends. Several nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends also survive. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home Chapel. Music will be provided by Jennifer Gillenwater. Following the visitation we will assemble at the Sanchez Family Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. for a graveside service. Pallbearers will be Jose Martinez, Greg Picazo, Antonio Sanchez, David Tester, Jerry Tester and Matthew Tester.
