Carol Pardue

Carol Pardue, age 49, of 864 Chestnut Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 30, 2006 at the Johnson County Health Center. Carol was born on April 2, 1957 in West Grove, Pennsylvania to the late Paul S. and Frances Canter Pardue. In addition to her parents, she was proceeded in death by one sister-in-law, Pat Pardue. Carol was an employee of N&N Ball & Roller of Mountain City and was a former employee of Levis Strauss & Company, where she had worked for 16 years. She was a member of the Mountain City Church of Christ. Carol enjoyed reading, music, flowers, her pets, and old movies. She is survived by her beloved dog "Darcie"; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Alma Sala and husband Don of Mountain City, TN and Janice Pardue, of the home; three brothers and two sisters-in-law: Edgar Pardue and wife Georgia, Zionville, NC, Butler Pardue and Jimmy Pardue and wife Louise, all of Mountain City, TN; three nephews: David Pardue and wife Wanda of Mocksville, NC; Arlen Sala and wife Sharon and Gary Sala, all Mountain City, TN; two nieces: Donna Burgess and husband Brent of Mountain City, TN and Melissa Beavers and husband Chris of Soddy Daisy, TN; three great nieces: Deidre Burgess, Greta Burgess and Shania Sala and one great nephew: Austin Sala, all of Mountain City, TN. Several cousins also survive. Graveside Services and Interment for Carol Pardue will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 2, 2006 from the Sunset Memorial Park with Mr. Everett Morefield to officiate. Active Pallbearers will be: Bob Pardue, Bill Hammons, Larry Canter, Carroll Canter, and David Pardue. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Mike Taylor, Otis Horne, Gary and Phyllis Green, Steve McCoy, Bob and Norma Ritchie and Employees of N&N Ball &Roller. At other times friends may call at the residence, 864 Chestnut Drive, Mountain City. TN 37683.
