Charles Eubert Burgin

Charles Eubert Burgin, age 71, of 875 Huggins Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away at his residence on Friday, October 8, 2004, following a brief illness. A native of Marion, North Carolina, he was born on May 11, 1933 to the late Robert Charles Burgin and Kate Schison Burgin. Charles was a former bus driver for the Johnson County School System and a retired farmer. He was a United States Army Veteran having served in Korea. Charles was a member of Liberty Christian Church. Charles is survived by his wife, Mary Parsons, of the home; two sons, Jim Parsons and Bobby Parsons and wife Linda, all of Mountain City, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Graveside Services for Charles will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2004 from the Forrester Cemetery with Mr. Jim Hutchinson to officiate. Active Pallbearers will be:Bruce Triplett, John Triplett, Arvil Vanover, J.C. Vanover, Dick Lindsy and Danny Shumate. At other times, friends may call at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Liberty Christian Church Building Fund, 405 Liberty Church Road, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683.
