Charles Howard Wood

We are saddened to announce the passing of Charles Howard Wood, age 68, on January 5, 2024 in Johnson City Medical Center. Charles was born December 19, 1955 to the late Maynard Fletcher Wood and Mary Etta Brown Wood. He was a member of Hales Chapel Methodist Church in Gate City, VA and he was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

Those left to cherish his memory include one daughter Teshia and one son; Jacob sister Mattie (Mark) Bellamy; three brothers: James (Liz) Wood, Gate City, VA; Fletcher Maynard of Johnson City, TN and George (Patricia) Wood of Maryland; Special Friend Anita Garey and two grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
