Charlotte Christeen Cornett Nichols

Charlotte Christeen Cornett Nichols, 92, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Hospice Home of High Point. She was born on June 19, 1933, in Watauga County, NC to the late Marion Calvin and Mary Millsaps Cornett. Charlotte was a licensed Cosmetologist and styled hair locally. Mom loved her family, friends, and cat, Skee. A longtime member of Sedge Garden Baptist Church, where she loved and served the Lord faithfully.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, john Worley Nichols; one son, Michael John Nichols; and five siblings.

Those left to cherish her memory are her five children, Mary Elizabeth Berrier (Lee), Thomas Worley Nichols, Steven Wayne Nihols, Edward Alan Nichols (Darlynn), and Jeffrey Lynn Nichols (Holly); and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM, on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Tim Duncan officiating.
