Christene Laws

Christene Laws age 88, passed away on December 7th, 2019 at the Center for the ageing in Erwin, Tennessee. She was born to the late Avril and Vergie Robinson Allen on March 23, 1931 in Johnson County, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Burl Blaine Laws, two daughters Linda Laws and Teresa Eldreth Four Brothers Harold Allen, Ralph Allen, Troy Allen and Coy Allen, and sisters, Voleen Russell and Carolyn Reece and her grandson Doug Eldreth. She loved cooking and spending time with her family.   Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters: Diana Snyder and husband Terry of Mountain City, Tennessee, Lisa Vines and husband Ray of Hampton, Tennessee, son: Tim Laws and wife Patsy of Mountain City, Tennessee, one sister: Ruth Garland, Lenoir N.C. five grandchildren, Jacinda Triplett (John), Candi Presnell, Amy Lewis (Matthew), Brian Snyder (Tonya), and Michael McQueen, nine great grandchildren Pacey Presnell, Corbin Presnell, Briton Snyder, Keegan Snyder, Madilyn Triplett, Abigayle Triplett, Tayelor Triplett, Asa Lewis, Isaac Lewis and several nieces and nephews also survive. Services for Christene will be held in the East Chapel of Hux & Lipford Funeral Home at 8:00pm on, Wednesday December 11, 2019. Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8:00pm prior to the service with Pastor Gary Gambill to officiate. at other time the family will receive Friends at the residence of her son Tim Laws 3612 Hwy 421 North in Mountain City.
